LOCATION: EDMOND TOWN HALL, 45 Main St., Newtown, CT 06470. Located in the center of Newtown. Easy to reach. Free parking is available. Pageant will be held in the Alexandria Ballroom.

ATTIRE: This is our Holiday Pageant so Holiday Theme Wear can be worn but not required. ONLY ONE OUTFIT IS WORN.

Petite Girls (3-5) - Special Occasion Dress, Holiday Dress or Pageant Dress, short to mid-calf (ankle length or above.) No long gowns permitted in this age group. We do not want our young contestants tripping when walking up the stage steps. Little Miss (6-9), Jr. Miss (10-12), Teen Miss (13-17), Miss (18-28), Ms. (29+) - Any after 5 attire, either short or long. Holiday dress, gown or dressy pants outfits are permitted.
Boys (3-12) - Suits or Casual Wear are permitted.
Baby Girls: Any dressy outfit or Holiday Outfit of your choice. Any length. (Parent escorts baby on stage—so whatever length dress you prefer is fine.)
Baby Boys: Casual or dressy.
Only one outfit is worn for beauty. Contestants can change for model competition but it is not required. If you choose to change for model, any outfit of choice can be worn. We suggest that you just add an accessory to your beauty outfit .. like a cape or shawl. A SHARED DRESSING AREA IS PROVIDED ALL DAY but you have a very limited time between events. Outfits should always be age appropriate!!

TIME SCHEDULE:

ALL CONTESTANTS MUST CHECK IN & REGISTER BETWEEN

11:30 AM - 12 NOON followed by Practice Session & Rehearsal. Show will start at 1. All beauty, model, photogenic, and special award winners will be presented by approximately 4:00 PM. Photo session of winners will follow.

ADMISSION: Our pageant is not open to the public, only to guests of the contestants. There is an $10 guest fee per adult, $5 children 12 & under. CONTESTANTS DO NOT PAY ADMISSION. ONE PARENT PER FAMILY IS INCLUDED WITH THE ENTRY FEE. All other guests, including other parent, will be charged a guest fee. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Admission ticket is not included in the discounted sibling fee.

OPTIONAL CATEGORIES PHOTO & MODEL: Both are included in the ALL-IN PACKAGE or can be added separately.

PHOTOGENIC COMPETITION: (Optional) There is an additional $35 charge for the first photo. Register for it now, but bring the photo with you. You can enter additional photos at $5 per photo. ($35 to enter photogenic which includes 1 photo; $5 for each additional) Photos will be returned to you before you leave. Photos can be color or black & white, any size from wallet up to 8x10. Please remove from frames if possible. PHOTOGENIC WINNERS will be announced along with the beauty winners & receive an Official Trophy, Crown & Sash, plus a $50 Gift Certificate for photo entries for the 2024 International Pageant. Runner-ups will receive a photogenic award, plus $50 Gift Certificate for photo entries for the 2024 International Pageant. Photogenic scores are not combined with your beauty score. This is a separate category. Entry fee is included in the All-In Package.
MODEL COMPETITION: (Optional) For all contestants, including babies. Judges will select the contestant they feel has the most MODEL POTENTIAL. There is a $40 fee to enter. Model winners receive an Official Trophy, Crown & Sash, plus a $50 Gift Certificate off the entry fee to the 2024 International Pageant. Runner-ups will receive a model award, plus $50 Gift Certificate to the 2024 International's. All contestants may register for the model contest. Contestants DO NOT have to change outfits at this regional contest. Contestants re-compete for the model title after their beauty walk. You can add a jacket, shawl or accessory if you wish. Time is limited, so outfit change is not necessary. Model scores are not combined with your beauty score. This is a separate category and is included in the ALL-IN Package. CHANGING ROOM IS PROVIDED.

GIFT: Every contestant is asked to bring an UNWRAPPED GIFT, SUGGESTED VALUE OF $10, to donate to the WOMEN'S CENTER OF GREATER DANBURY. The gift should be for someone the same age as the contestant. A gift is required to enter. Teach your children the gift of giving by joining us at our Holiday Pageant. By the end of the day we will have collected gifts for all ages, to help make the holidays brighter for all of those children celebrating the season in a homeless shelter. "TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!"

BEAUTY, MODEL & PHOTOGENIC scores are not combined. THERE IS NO TALENT INVOLVED. BEAUTY IS JUDGED ON BEAUTY, CHARM, POISE AND PERSONALITY FOR THE GIRLS. APPEARANCE & PERSONALITY FOR THE BOYS. MODEL IS JUDGED ON MODEL ABILITY & POTENTIAL BASED ON AGE. BABIES ARE JUDGED ON APPEARANCE, PERSONALITY & POTENTIAL. Winners of this competition will advance to the 2024 INTERNATIONAL FINALS.
Cash Prizes, Fabulous Crowns, Gifts and Trophies will be awarded at the International Finals.
Over 60 International Winners will be crowned from Babies up to Ms, plus 2 - GRAND SUPREME OVERALL WINNERS will be crowned. Our pageant has awarded over TWO MILLION DOLLARS in Savings Bonds, Cash, Prizes and Awards!!

Former Grand Overall Winner, Joseph CJ Foster, played a lead role in the Major Motion Picture “Doubt” co-starring with Meryl Streep, Philip Seymour Hoffman & Amy Adams. Former Jr Miss winner, Priscilla Star Diaz, is a professional actress & singer who started in our pageants and landed the role of Jessica on “The Electric Company” , has a recording contract, already released several albums, starred in the award winning documentary entitled “P-Star Rising”, and nominated for Best Actress in the feature film RELEASE. Many of our babies have booked HUGGIES box covers, and we recently booked auditions for over 40 baby’s for a chance to be the next HUGGIES box cover!! Our babies have auditioned & booked TV Commercials for Huggies, Pampers & Gerber. Over 20 contestants have booked jobs with the Discovery Channel on various TV series. Our 2017, 2018 & 2019 Baby Winners booked NATIONAL HUGGIES BOX COVERS. Our 2019 Baby Winner booked a National TV Commercial!
Our pageant has started hundreds of contestants in successful modeling careers, TV commercials, print work, movies and Broadway! Our contestants have done National TV commercials including: Verizon, Build A Bear, Pampers, Captain Crunch, Applebee’s, Red Lobster, Subway, Kraft, Wendy’s, Kohl’s, Chrysler, General Mills, Crest, Sears, Aqua Fresh, Hallmark, Coke, Campbell Soup & many more. Auditioned and starred in numerous Broadway show, appeared on VH1, MTV, Sesame Street, Blues Clues, Nickelodeon, Saturday Night Live, One Life to Live & Another World.

I understand the pageant is not responsible for any accident, mishap or injury incurred in travel to or from the pageant or at the competition itself and I relieve the pageant of any future claim of such. I enter this pageant with full understanding of the rules concerning the age divisions and accept that the decision of the judges is final and not contestable. I understand that their are no refunds of any money paid by me or on my behalf and that no chargebacks are allowed. If I am unable to attend I will receive a credit that can be used for another pageant within a one year term. A minimum of $50 is required as a deposit /$35 for siblings. Balance can be paid the day of the pageant with either cash or money order only. (No credit cards at the door.) Deposit is non-refundable, but can be used as a credit throughout 2024.

In the "Description Box" put the name of the contestant. In the "Price per item" box put the full amount that you want to pay today. Minimum deposit is $50.

Our pageant is a family event. When you arrive at the ballroom you will check-in at the pageant registration. We will have your application form on file, and assign a contestant number for you. You will sit in the audience with your family and friends. BABY contestants will be escorted on stage by a family member of your choice. Babies cannot be unattended at any time. Contestants 3 & up will be able to walk by themselves, unless they want someone to go with them. Contestants 3 & up are interviewed during beauty competition. Just asked their name & age, and a conversational type of interview so judges can see their personality. Our pageant is designed to increase self-esteem, build self-confidence, to make sure you have a good time and a valuable experience. Each contestant leaves with a trophy, and we want everyone to leave with a positive attitude. Parents: Contestants will never be out of your sight at any time! They are always in the same room with you. Our pageants are not open to the public. In order to purchase a ticket you must be a relative or friend of a contestant. We do this in order to create the safest and nicest environment for our contestants.

OFFICIAL APPLICATION FORM for the HOLIDAY BENEFIT PAGEANT BEING HELD SUNDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2023 for the Women's Center of Greater Danbury (a non-profit organization protecting women & children from domestic violence) to collect holiday gifts for the children. Together we can make a difference! Pageant will be held AT THE EDMOND TOWN HALL, 45 Main St, NEWTOWN, CT. in the ALEXANDRIA BALLROOM.

Everyone will receive a trophy! 12 Age divisions. Girls 2 months to 28 years, plus a Ms. Division 29 & up (no limit). Boys 2 months to 12 years. This is a Regional Pageant and you can qualify for the International Finals

in 2024.

LIMIT OF 10 CONTESTANTS PER AGE GROUP.

Our pageant system allows makeup but discourages

excess use of makeup on children. We prefer a natural

look. CONTESTANTS SHOULD ALWAYS LOOK AGE

APPROPRIATE.

We reduce the $75 entry fee by $10, and ask each contestant to purchase a gift to donate. Every contestant must bring a new, unwrapped gift, with a value of $10 or more to participate. These gifts will be given to the children in the shelters.

$65 REDUCED BEAUTY ENTRY FEE IS ALL THAT IS REQUIRED TO COMPETE IN THIS HOLIDAY PAGEANT. No other required fees. The fee is reduced to $45 for siblings and/or Moms. Beauty fee includes all special awards: Prettiest Eyes, Personality, Best Holiday Outfit, Prettiest Smile & Holiday Sweetheart title. The $65 entry fee also includes one complimentary guest pass. (One complimentary pass per family.) You can also add optional model or photogenic. These are explained in detail in the information provided.

ALL-IN OPTION: If you Pre-Register for all three events, beauty, photogenic & model, you can receive a discounted entry fee of $125 for everything. Additional contestants in the same family would be $105 for the All-In. This fee also includes all the above optional awards. One complimentary guest pass per family is included with the $125 package.

A minimum $50 deposit is required to register. $35 deposit required for siblings. Any additional balance or guest tickets can be paid day of pageant by cash or money order only, or you can pay in full by credit card in advance. Credit cards are not taken at event.
